Manak Solicitors were proud to sponsor the Sevenoaks Ferrari Day on Sunday 15th September at The Vine Gardens. Organised by the Ferrari Owners Club in collaboration with Sevenoaks Town Council, the event saw Ferrari’s from all over the country come to Sevenoaks and show themselves off for the crowds. The weather was perfect and seeing all of the families and enthusiasts in attendance was great to see!

After a parade through Sevenoaks, a large number of Ferrari’s parked themselves in The Vine Gardens with their iconic red (and a couple of yellow and blue) paintwork shining in the bright sun. From old classics to new supercars, there was something from every era here! Kids loved seeing the F1 car at the entrance and there were photo opportunities all over the gardens.

Talking about photo opportunities, the Mario Brothers were in town to celebrate! You could find them around the grounds taking photos with all the guests. Also there as entertainment was the singer Wayne Woodward of Britains Got Talent Fame! He sang swing classics from the Vine Pavilion and put on quite the show, even taking some requests from the crowd.

It was an excellent event and we were very proud to have been involved. Thank you to all the owners that brought their Ferrari’s to Sevenoaks specifically for this, and thank you to all the attendees for making this one of our events of the year!

We recently held our Spring Social at The Mount Vineyard, providing an opportunity for our team members to relax and connect outside the office.

The event commenced with our staff departing the office in high spirits. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a beautifully arranged venue, thanks to the creative efforts of Lorna Rampling, our conveyancing assistant from the Gravesend office. Elegant floral arrangements from Bee Wilde Designs Florist enhanced the setting. We enjoyed a selection of canapés and welcome drinks, followed by stone-baked pizzas and a variety of handcrafted cocktails, fine wines, and whiskey. Musical entertainment was provided by Platinum Disco, featuring a live saxophonist and a DJ, ensuring an enjoyable atmosphere.

A notable moment of the evening was the recognition of Denise Asquith for her 25 years of dedicated service to Manak Solicitors. Additionally, we welcomed our new team member, Mashud Ali, from the Sevenoaks office.

The event was a successful blend of socialising, dining, and entertainment, reflecting our strong team spirit and camaraderie. We look forward to more opportunities to gather and celebrate our collective achievements.

On a warm Saturday evening, the community of Orpington came together for the Priory Live Festival Launch Party, which Sam and Tom kindly hosted at Orpington GPO. This event marked the beginning of a celebration of music and community spirit. Manak Solicitors proudly introduced the Manak Stage, which showcased local artistic talent.

During the evening, there were memorable performances by Flo Gallop with her great vibe, Adam Kelly’s blend of nostalgic sounds, Madeleine McPherson’s powerful voice, and a performance by Nick Barclay, the festival’s architect.

The Orpington GPO provided delicious food and cocktails, creating a vibrant and warm atmosphere. As a favourite restaurant in Orpington, the staff worked hard to make it a positive experience for all. As the night progressed, the sense of joy grew among the attendees, leaving everyone excited for the main festival in August.

Looking back on the Priory Live Festival Launch, it’s clear that it was more than just a gathering. It was a celebration of the arts and the resilient spirit of Orpington. Last night, the Big Jalebi Charity Ball, hosted by Sumeet Jalan and his lovely family, took place at Oakley House, Bromley, in an early celebration of Diwali. The evening wasn’t just about the festivities but about bringing communities together and supporting charities that make a real difference.
